Today, while working with a client starting her loc journey, I found myself saying something that didn’t just land for her—it echoed back to me:

This is a process. And the first step isn’t change… it’s awareness.

Because most people want results without realizing they’re still operating from the same identity that created their current reality.

And it doesn’t work like that.

The Real Process of Transformation

Real change doesn’t happen overnight. It follows a deeper order:

Awareness → Knowledge → Beliefs → Knowing

Awareness is when you finally see it.The patterns. The habits. The ways you’ve been shrinking, performing, or abandoning yourself.
Knowledge is when you start learning something different. You’re exposed to new ways of thinking, new truths, new possibilities.
Beliefs are where it gets uncomfortable.Because now you have to choose—do I keep believing what I’ve always believed, or do I adopt something new?
And then comes Knowing.Not hoping. Not trying. Not convincing.Knowing.

That’s when it clicks so deeply that it imprints on your subconscious.That’s when your actions start changing naturally.That’s when your external world begins to shift—without force. (You Know putting gas in your car makes it run you don't need to believe it because you know )

Why Your Journey Feels Slow

It’s not because you’re behind. It’s not because you’re doing it wrong.

It’s because you’re being invited to face parts of yourself that can’t come with you where you’re going.

And most people don’t want to hear that.

They want quick results. Fast validation. Immediate proof.

But the truth is—your growth is only as fast as your willingness to face yourself HONESTLY.

The Loc Journey Is Deeper Than Hair

Starting locs isn’t just a style choice.

It’s a decision to:

Let go of control
Release perfectionism
Stop performing for validation
And embrace a more authentic, grounded version of yourself

Because there will be stages where it doesn’t look how you imagined.Moments where you question your decision.Times where other people project their opinions onto you.
