About Loc Journey
I started my first set of locs back in 2019. My daughter and then myself, I realized something I had to put action behind my words I was telling my daughter. Society causes encounters that make us question acceptance of our natural state and being, including our natural hair . A Loc Journey is stepping outside of that paradigm no longer accepting societal beauty standards over your own natural beauty. So we started our locs together and never looked back. However before this I had been braiding my hair down and crocheting some cute fake long locs in. For two years I style my hair that way before commiting to the shift.
